Embrace latex is a unique product that merges Talalay latex with memory foam, combining the durability and breathability of latex with the pressure reducing properties of memory foam. The durability and ventilation qualities found in latex means that heat and moisture go through the mattress, providing the best possible sleeping conditions, summer and winter. Its visco properties mean that it will also provide pressure relieving comfort, for which memory foam is known.

Compared with a traditional spring mattress, latex foam is supremely comfortable. Latex molds itself to the body contours of the sleeper, supporting the body firmly. Its cell structure, with millions of interconnecting cells is self-ventilating, extending the life of the mattress. A unique molding process gives this topper 350 holes per square foot, ensuring uniformity and absolute comfort. It returns to its original shape after each use with the high resilience found only in natural rubber. Latex foam does not hold moisture and remains well ventilated even when not in use. Body perspiration is quickly dissipated and passed out of the mattress. Wide changes of humidity do not damage the topper.

You'll appreciate the bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties that make latex a top choice of hospitals. Research shows that natural latex foam does not harbor insects such as dust mites. Dr. Theo Lammers and his team at the Institute of Hygiene (Mainz, Germany) have carried out extensive tests that show that latex foam mattresses need not be disinfected even in hospital wards for contagious diseases.

Sensus is a new generation of premium, high density viscoelastic foam manufactured using an exclusive patented process, Variable Pressure FoamingSM (VPS). VPS results in foam that is higher quality, more consistent and more shape changing.

Sensus responds to a broader range of temperatures, allowing for a smoother more gradual shift in firmness. This means that sleepers can change positions without feeling a barrier of hard, non-responsive foam. Sensus has finer cells, so it is softer and more luxurious feeling. Because it has a longer "memory", Sensus relieves pressure better, to provide better, uninterrupted sleep.

The "boardy" feel of the conventional foam is the initial resistance to buckling of the vertical struts in the foam. When this buckling begins, the cells collapse in horizontal layers under increased loading, loosing support. Omalon's elliptical cells have virtually no erect vertical struts to resist buckling, resulting in a continuous deep down support for a better night's sleep.

Omalon® cells are "pre-worn", meaning that repeated use is not necessary for comfort. Omalon has excellent initial comfort and luxurious feel, even in firmer grades. "Pre-worn" cells are not only initially soft, they won't break down over time because of the strength of their elliptical structure.
